Frontier Airlines Partners

Frontier Airlines wants to bring you everywhere. Partnering with other great airlines is how we do that.

What is "codeshare"?

Codeshares allow us to sell seats on flights operated by other airlines. This means you can easily combine Frontier and flights with partner airlines to create a single itinerary.

Our codeshare agreements make booking, checking in, checking your bags and traveling more convenient. Plus, the coordinated schedules make sure you'll have enough time for all your connections. For more information please see the Codeshare Terms and Conditions.

Who's operating my flight?

With a codeshare flight, the operating carrier is the airline that flies the plane, and the marketing carrier is the partner airline that sells seats on the operating carrier's flights.

You can tell which carrier is operating your flight:

  • In the booking path during the booking process
  • Next to the flight number when you book the flight
  • In your MyFrontier profile after you book
  • In your confirmation email
  • On the check-in reminder email 24 hours before your flight

Basic codeshare guidelines

Codeshare flights can be confusing for the first-timer and even the veteran flyer. Here are some tips to always be aware of for all codeshare flights:

  • To change an itinerary, contact the airline that sold you the ticket
  • Check-in at the counter of the airline operating the flight
  • If your flight is cancelled at any point, contact the airline operating the flight
  • If your baggage is lost, submit a claim to the airline who last handled the luggage
  • If you're looking to buy an upgrade, contact the airline operating the flight
