Rosa the Pink-Headed Warbler

The Pink-Headed Warbler is an avian gem found exclusively in the highlands of Guatemala and the neighboring Mexican state of Chiapas. Recognized as Vulnerable to extinction by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) due to ongoing habitat loss, the Pink-headed Warbler graces our aircraft with its eye-catching red plumage, complemented by a silvery-pink head and chest. In Spanish, this species is eloquently referred to as "cabeza plateada," meaning "silvery head," or "chipe rosado," translating to "rose-colored warbler." We aim to raise awareness about the conservation challenges facing this remarkable species and contribute to efforts to preserve its habitat.
