Known for the black tufts of hair on the tips of their ears, lynx are known for their keen vision and large furry feet. There are four different species of lynx - including the bobcat - all of which are found exclusively in the Northern Hemisphere. Lynx range in color from reddish-brown to grey-brown, depending on their habitat and species. Lynx have an excellent sense of hearing and are a stalk-and-ambush hunter, known for eating anything from small rodents to young deer and even ducks. Lynx are mainly nocturnal, and most active during dusk and dawn.
