Known for playing dead, opossums are the only marsupial found north of Mexico, often seen carrying their young on their backs. Opossums might look like giant rats but they’re far from pests - opossums are key in helping slow the spread of lyme disease. Opossums have a few super abilities including sharp memories, immunity to most snake venoms, immunity to rabies, and a tail they can use as a fifth appendage. Not bad for a nocturnal marsupial.
