Mileage & Points Earning Changes

When do the new miles and points earning rates take effect?

The new miles and points earning rates will take effect for Frontier Airlines bookings made on or after Sept. 1, 2026. Frontier Miles members will earn at different rates for basic fares and bundles. Earning will be accelerated for Frontier Airlines World Mastercard cardmembers.

What are the new earn rates for basic fare bookings?

Frontier Miles members will earn 1x miles and points on basic fare bookings, while Silver members earn 3x, Gold members earn 5x, Platinum members earn 7x, and Diamond members earn 11x. Frontier Airlines World Mastercard cardmembers earn higher rates on basic fare bookings, ranging from 4x to 14x miles and points.

What are the new earn rates for bookings with bundles?

Members who purchase Economy, Premium, or Business bundles will earn more miles and points than they do on basic fare bookings. Frontier Miles members will earn 6x miles and points on bundles, while Silver members earn 8x, Gold members earn 10x, Platinum members earn 12x and Diamond members earn 16x. Frontier Airlines World Mastercard cardmembers earn higher rates on bundles, ranging from 12x to 22x miles and points.

How do earn rates differ for Frontier Airlines World Mastercard cardmembers?

Frontier Airlines World Mastercard cardmembers earn at faster rates. On bundles, cardmembers earn between 12x and 22x miles and points depending on Elite Status level. On basic fare bookings, cardmembers earn between 4x and 14x miles and points depending on Elite Status level. Plus, certain cardmembers will earn an additional 5x miles and 1x points on eligible Frontier purchases when using the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard. Can I redeem miles for bundles?

Yes. Members can redeem miles for bundles starting at 2,000 miles for an Economy Bundle.

Do I need to be a Frontier Miles member to earn miles and points?

Yes, you must be enrolled in Frontier Miles, our free frequent flyer program, in order to earn miles and points. You can join for free at Frontier Miles.

Elite Status Changes

When do the new Elite Status thresholds take effect?

The new Elite Status thresholds take effect Jan. 1, 2027, with the exception of Elite Diamond Status, which takes effect September 1, 2026. If you earn 75,000 Elite Status Points in 2026, you will earn Elite Diamond Status for the 2027 calendar year.

When do the new Elite Status benefits go into effect?

The updated Elite Status benefits will apply to bookings made on or after Jan. 1, 2027.

What are the current Elite Status thresholds?

Currently, members can achieve Silver Status with 10,000 points, Gold Status with 20,000 points, Platinum Status with 50,000 points, and as of September 1, 2026, Diamond Status with 75,000 points.

What are the new Elite Status thresholds?

As of Jan. 1, 2027, members can achieve Silver Status with 15,000 points, Gold Status with 25,000 points, Platinum Status with 50,000 points, and Diamond Status with 75,000 points.

What is the biggest benefit of the updated thresholds?

Members will be able to reach Elite Diamond Status faster, unlocking Frontier Miles' top-tier benefits, including free checked bags and unlimited companion travel.

What benefits are included with Elite Status?
