OFFICIAL RULES - FREE FLIGHTS FOR A YEAR – ONLINE AND SOCIAL CONTEST

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

ELIGIBILITY. Frontier’s Online and Social Free Flights for a Year Sweepstakes (the “Contest”) is open all residents of United States (including the District of Columbia, but excluding New York and Florida) who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) of Frontier Airlines, Inc., as well as its affiliates, and/or those living in the same household of each such employee are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

SPONSOR. The Contest is provided by Frontier Airlines, Inc., 4545 Airport Way, Denver, CO 80239 (“Sponsor”).

AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding.

CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest will begin on or around May 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM Mountain Time. The Contest will end at 11:59 PM Mountain Time on June 30, 2018 (the “Contest Period”).

HOW TO ENTER. During the Contest Period, there will be two (2) ways to enter: 1) A completed and confirmed reservation made within the Contest Period will automatically be entered via the email address used in booking the reservation or 2) go to http://bit.ly/FlyForAYear, follow the instructions and submit the completed online entry form. Upon making a completed and confirmed reservation, or a successful submission of the registration form, you will automatically be entered for one (1) entry into the Contest drawing.

LIMIT. Each entrant may enter the Contest one (1) time during the Contest Period per entry method. Any attempt by any entrant to receive more than the allowed single entry per entry method will result in immediate disqualification of the entrant. This includes duplicate email addresses and duplicate names as registered under different email addresses.

PRIZES. You have not yet won a prize or been selected to participate, and no purchase is necessary to win one or be selected. Odds of winning any prize are based on the number of eligible entrants during the Contest Period. All persons who enter the contest will be entered into a drawing to be one (1) Grand Prize Winner of Free Flights for a Year – Online and Social Contest. The Prize consists of up to twenty-five (25) roundtrip tickets or the equivalent of $6,250 in tickets, whichever is less, to / from any Frontier Airlines destination for flights between August 15, 2018 and August 14, 2019.  All prize travel must be completed by August 14, 2019 at 11:59PM MT.  The tickets may be used only by the Winner.

At no time will the Winner receive more than twenty-five (25) roundtrip tickets or the equivalent of $6,250 in tickets.

The Grand Prize has an Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of $6,250.

All flights are subject to availability.  During the award year, to book flights, the Winner must contact Sponsor’s Promotions Manager, and provide necessary booking details, at least two weeks before the anticipated flight so the flight(s) can be booked.

All air travel is subject to all applicable travel and fare restrictions. Tickets will be booked as base fare, including taxes.  All expenses, including baggage and seat fees and incidental travel needs, including but not limited to, meals, lodging, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes, or other expenses or incidentals are the responsibility solely of the Winner.  Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen ticket.

The determination of liability for any federal, state or local taxes that arise out of the Winner’s receipt and/or use of any prize, and the payment of any such tax liability, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. However, should federal, state or local law impose any tax reporting or filing obligations on Sponsor arising out of the Winner’s participation in the Contest (including the Winner's receipt of and/or use of any prize), the Winner agrees to timely provide Sponsor with any information that is reasonably needed for Sponsor to comply with any such reporting or filing obligations. Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other contest, promotion or offer. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of prize by the Winner is permitted.

VERIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNER. The potential Winner must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules to win. Except where prohibited, a potential Winner of the Prize must sign and return to Sponsor, by no later than August 15, 2018, a fully completed IRS Form W-9, to claim the Prize. The Winner is responsible for and must possess valid passports, visa and other required travel documentation at time of travel. If a potential Winner fails to sign and return the IRS Form W-9 within the required time period, an alternate entrant may be selected at random from all eligible entries received and the potential first notified Winner forfeits the prize. Only one (1) alternate drawing will be held, after which the prize will remain unawarded if unclaimed.

The potential Winner will be notified by email on or before July 15, 2018. The potential Winner must return the notification email within 24 hours of receipt, with acknowledgment of receipt, or the prize will be forfeited. 

PRIVACY; USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy and Terms of Use. Please review Sponsor's privacy policy at https://www.flyfrontier.com/legal/privacy-policy/. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy. Such information will be used by Sponsor for marketing purposes. By entering this Contest, you will be automatically opted-in to receive communications from Frontier Airlines and may opt out upon receiving the first communication.

GENERAL RELEASE. By receipt of any Contest prize, the Winner agrees to release and hold harmless sponsor, Facebook and affiliated contributors, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “released parties”) from and against any claim of action arising out of participation in the Contest and receipt, redemption and use of any prize. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. By submitting an entry, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, and entrant waives any right to a jury trial for such disputes, claims and causes of action; (2) under no circumstances will entrant be awarded attorney’s fees, costs, punitive, incidental or consequential damages.

Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, web site providers, web masters, and administrator, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents are not liable if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays, or interruptions due to acts of god, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, or terrorism.

Once the Winner accepts prize and travel is booked, the Winner is bound by Frontier Airlines policies, including but not limited to Frontier Airlines’ Contract of Carriage, tarmac delay contingency plan, and ticket terms and conditions.

CONSTRUCTION. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and municipal laws, rules and regulations. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant and Sponsor, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law rules that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Colorado. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the valid or enforceable provision was not contained therein.

WARNING. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any website associated with this Contest or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to prosecute and seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, the web site, and/or the legitimate operation of the Contest; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupt or affect the operation, administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and (a) cancel or terminate the Contest (or any portion thereof); (b) modify the Contest or suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (c) award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.

PUBLICITY. Except where prohibited, participation in this Contest constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
