Hazel the Chipmunk

With their identifiable black and white stripes, chipmunks are the smallest member of the squirrel family. Chipmunks have large pouches in their cheeks where they can store nuts and food. Solitary creatures, the chipmunk is an omnivore that will eat anything it can get its hands on. Like squirrels, chipmunks play a vital role in forest ecosystems - both for planting trees and as prey for large animals.
