David Siegel

President &

David Siegel: President and Chief Executive Officer


David Siegel joined Frontier in January 2012 as President and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier. David also serves as a member of the board of directors for Republic Airways Holdings, Inc.

David most recently co-invested in and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of XOJET, Inc., a TPG Growth-backed private aviation company. David served as Chief Executive Officer for gategroup, US Airways, Avis Budget Group, Inc., and President of Continental Express. David also served in various senior management roles at Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Budget Rent A Car Group, and eVolution Global Partners.

David also holds board positions at XOJET and gategroup, and he serves on the Advisory Board of Trilantic Capital Partners, formerly Lehman Brothers Private Equity.

Siegel earned a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School, with first-year honors, and a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in applied mathematics-economics from Brown University.

John Bendoraitis

Chief Operating Officer

John Bendoraitis: Chief Operating Officer
John Bendoraitis joined Frontier in March 2012 as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the Company’s operational teams, including Flight Operations, Inflight, Technical Operations, System Operations and Airport/Customer Service.

Prior to joining Frontier, John served as president of Comair Airlines, where he led the reorganization of the airline’s cost structure. As President of Compass Airlines from 2006 to 2008, he was responsible for the certification and launch of the airline. John began his aviation career at Northwest Airlines, where over a 22-year span he worked his way up from Aircraft Technician to Vice President of Base Maintenance Operations.

John received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Metro State University in St. Paul, Minn., and a MBA from St. Thomas University in Minneapolis. He also holds an A&P certificate from Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology in St. Louis, Mo.

Amit Agarwal

Chief Information Officer

Amit Agarwal: Chief Information Officer
Amit Agarwal joined Frontier in June 2012 and serves as the Chief Information Officer. Most recently, Amit was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Planning for Kingfisher Airlines, based in Mumbai, where he focused on working with investors in recapitalization and restructuring. Amit also worked at Delta Air Lines in Atlanta, where he helped manage the financial and operational turnaround of the airline.

Amit received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Bhopal, and he earned a master’s degree in operational research and statistics from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.

Robert Ashcroft

Senior Vice President,
Finance

Robert Ashcroft: Senior Vice President of Finance
Robert Ashcroft joined Frontier in November 2011 as Senior Vice President, Finance. He was previously Vice President, Planning for Allegiant, where he had responsibility for network, capacity and schedule planning as well as pricing and investor relations.

Before Allegiant, Robert was an airline equity analyst for UBS, responsible at different times for U.S. and European airline coverage. He came to UBS from Lehman Brothers, where for several years he was an aircraft finance banker. Robert started on Wall Street in aircraft finance at CIBC.

Robert holds a PhD in finance from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford, and he has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a Bachelor of Arts in math and physics, both from Cornell.

Daniel Shurz

Senior Vice President, Commercial

Daniel Shurz: Senior Vice President, Commercial
Daniel Shurz is Senior Vice President, Commercial for Frontier and oversees all commercial activities, including network planning, pricing and revenue management, marketing, product and brand definition. Daniel joined Frontier as Vice President of Strategy and Planning in 2009.

Prior to joining Frontier, Daniel served as Vice President of Network Planning and Alliances for Air Canada. Before joining Air Canada, Daniel held a number of other senior-level positions in the transportation industry at both the Chicago Transit Authority and United Airlines.

Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens’ College, University of Cambridge in Cambridge, United Kingdom, and a MBA in Strategy, Economics and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Daniel lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife and two sons.

Greg Aretakis

Vice President, Network
and Revenue Management

Greg Aretakis: Vice President of Network and Revenue Management


Greg Aretakis is Vice President of Network and Revenue Management for Frontier with responsibilities for planning and scheduling, yield management, pricing, sales and distribution.

Greg first joined Frontier as Vice President of Planning and Revenue Management in January 2003, before departing for a similar role at Midwest Airlines in Milwaukee in 2005. Greg returned to Frontier through the merger with Midwest in September 2009.

With more than 30 years in leadership roles in the industry, Greg has served in various planning, scheduling, and marketing roles for Vanguard Airlines, Shuttle America, Continental Airlines, Continental Express, and New York Air. He began his airline career at American Airlines.

Greg earned a degree in geography from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Jan Fogelberg

Vice President,
Customer Service

Jan Fogelberg: Vice President, Customer Service
Jan Fogelberg is Vice President, Customer Service for Frontier Airlines overseeing airport operations, including customer service, ground handling, aircraft appearance, and catering in addition to regulatory compliance, policies and procedures, and training.

Jan joined Frontier in 2003 and has held roles of increasing responsibility in reservations, system policies and procedures, and operations. Most recently, Jan held the position of Vice President, Commercial Technology at Frontier.

Jan has more than 25 years of experience in the airline industry and, prior to joining Frontier, worked at Continental Airlines.

Scott Gould

Vice President,
Flight Operations

Scott Gould: Vice President, Flight Operations
Scott Gould is Vice President, Flight Operations for Frontier Airlines, providing oversight and leadership to flight operations personnel, including pilots, flight attendants, dispatch, system operations, and crew scheduling.

Scott joined Frontier in 1999 as a Boeing 737 First Officer and also served as a 737 and Airbus 320 Captain, as well as coordinating special company projects. Scott also worked as vice president, board member, and volunteer for the Frontier Airline Pilots Association from 2001-11.

Prior to joining Frontier Scott spent three years as a pilot for Express Airlines, I (dba Northwest Airlink).

Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University.

Dan Krause: Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience
Dan Krause joined Frontier in 2003 and serves as Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience with responsibilities for marketing, e-commerce, loyalty, corporate communications, Frontier’s reservations call centers, customer relations, and customer experience.

During his tenure at Frontier, Dan has worked in roles of increasing responsibility on the finance, distribution, marketing and customer experience teams, most recently serving as Senior Director of Commercial Strategy and Customer Experience, where he focused on customer interactions and branding at all touch points, as well as managed Frontier’s customer contact teams in both reservations and customer relations.

Dan earned bachelor’s degrees in business and education from Boston University and both a MBA and a master’s in education policy from Stanford University.

Allen Messick

Vice President, Maintenance
and Engineering

Allen Messick: Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering
Allen Messick joined Frontier in May 2012 as Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering and oversees all aspects of the Company’s aircraft maintenance and GSE maintenance.

Prior to joining Frontier, Allen spent eight years as Vice President of Maintenance for Comair Airlines, where he was responsible for airframe, engine and component maintenance, engineering, material management, and quality control.

Allen also spent 15 years with Delta Air Lines, where he worked his way up from part-time cargo employee to Director of Component Maintenance.

Allen earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Holly Nelson

Chief Accounting Officer
and Treasurer

Holly Nelson, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer
Holly Nelson joined Frontier in April 2013 as the Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer. Nelson brings more than 25 years of airline-industry financial experience to the position. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer for Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP), where she led the company’s finance and human resource functions. Prior to ATP, Nelson worked at Virgin America Inc., where she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Holly previously served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at JetBlue Airways Corporation, where she helped the airline enter the public markets and guide its tremendous growth. She began her airline career at Northwest Airlines and also held finance leadership roles at EOS Airlines, Inc. and XOJET Inc.

Nelson is an inactive certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Holly is a past member of the AICPA’s Accounting Standards Executive Committee (AcSEC) and served on the Airline Guide Task Force that issued the updated AICPA Audit & Accounting Guide on Airlines. She is an alumni of KPMG LLC.

Ashok Shah

Vice President, Finance

Ashok Shah: Vice President of Finance
Ashok Shah joined Frontier in March 2012 as Vice President of Finance and oversees financial planning, airline profitability, financial analysis, and fleet management.

Prior to joining Frontier, Ashok spent six years with Allegiant Travel Company overseeing the company’s scheduling, network, air and ancillary pricing, and revenue management. Previous to that, Ashok prepared the company for its IPO and oversaw the building of its financial planning and analysis group.

Before Allegiant, Ashok worked at Mesa Air Group and American Airlines in its operations and finance groups in positions of increasing responsibility.

Ashok received his MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and his undergraduate from Lake Forest College.
