Personal Item

Everyone may carry on one personal item that fits under the seat. This item must not exceed 18” x 14” x 8”, inclusive of all handles, wheels, and straps.

Oversize Checked Baggage Fees (any items over 62 linear inches - length + width + depth)

Overweight Checked Baggage Fees (any items weighing more than 50 pounds)

Curbside Baggage Drop (Available only Denver, Las Vegas, & Los Angeles)

Curbside baggage drop is only available to customers who check-in on FlyFrontier.com (and pay applicable baggage fees) prior to arriving at the airport. Customers needing to check-in at the airport should proceed inside to the ticket counter.

Special Item Handling Fees

A stroller and car seat may be checked free of charge when traveling with a child. A diaper bag may be carried on free of charge when travelling with a child.

Golf equipment, skis, and snowboards are subject to the checked baggage fees and overweight fees above (oversize fees are exempt). Other special items and sporting equipment, including archery equipment, bowling equipment, coolers, firearms, fishing equipment, hang gliding equipment, hockey equipment, lacrosse equipment, kayaks, musical instruments, paintball equipment, parachutes, pole vaulting equipment, scuba gear, surfboards, and windsurfing equipment are subject to the checked baggage fees, oversize fees, and overweight fees above. The items below have special charges:

Checked Antlers Fee

For tickets purchased on or after December 15, 2013, for travel on or after June 13, 2014

For all travel through June 12, 2014, checked bikes are subject to the checked baggage fees and overweight fees above (oversize fees are exempt).

Checked Dry Ice Fee 
For tickets purchased through July 19, 2014 for travel through December 11, 2014, a fee of $50 applies per checked bag containing dry ice.

For tickets purchased on or after July 20, 2014 for travel on or after December 12, 2014, checked and carry-on bag fees, including excess, are charged based on Fare Option purchased. Overweight and oversize fees are charged if applicable.

The fee applies per passenger.

The fee is waived on all bookings within two hours of the scheduled flight departure time and for *Ascent and Summit level members of EarlyReturns® on any fare.

Airport Ticket Counter Booking & Ticketing Fee

Tickets are not sold at airport ticket counters. Tickets may be purchased with no booking fee at FlyFrontier.com.

Paper Itinerary and Receipt Mailing Fee
This fee is charged if you request a paper itinerary or receipt via the mail. Copies of itineraries and receipts for upcoming or past travel sent via email are always free of charge.

Itinerary Change Fees Prior to Day of Travel vary based on the Fare Option you purchase:

For all itinerary changes prior to the day of travel, any fare difference between the fare already paid and the current fare for the new itinerary will be charged in addition to any applicable itinerary change fee.

External Reservation Handling Fee
Applies to any voluntary itinerary changes made through a Frontier reservations agent for tickets issued by travel agencies or online travel agencies. The fee does not apply to Same-Day Confirmed Flight Changes.

Fee is waived for Classic Plus fares, tickets issued on government and military fares, and for *Ascent and Summit level members of EarlyReturns on all fares.

Name Change Fees vary based on the type of Fare Option you purchase:

Fee is waived for any unaccompanied minor who is an *Ascent or Summit level member of EarlyReturns.

The fee is only assessed once each way for multiple children in one reservation.

*Note: Frontier does not accept unaccompanied minors for connecting travel.

No charge for one lap child per adult passenger (age 15 or older). For international flights, applicable taxes will be assessed.
