While you're planning your trip, we'd like to share some wisdom about how to make the most of your award travel.
Here's how it works. We designate a certain number of seats on our flights for award travel. Based on ongoing traffic patterns, some flights have more award seats available than others.
That being said, here are a couple of tips to help you get the most out of your award travel:
- The best days to travel using your miles for an award seat are Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
- Be flexible when booking an award seat and have alternate cities and dates to check, in case your first choice is sold out.
