What is an Electronic Travel Certificate?
An Electronic Travel Certificate may be used toward the purchase of travel on Frontier. To learn more about how our Electronic Travel Certificates are issued, please visit our Customer Commitment.

I have an Electronic Travel Certificate – how do I redeem it?
You may redeem your Electronic Travel Certificate by booking travel here at FlyFrontier.com. Simply go through our flight booking process and when you get to the payment screen, you'll be asked to enter your Electronic Travel Certificate number. If you prefer, you may call Frontier Reservations at 800-432-1FLY (1359) to redeem your Electronic Travel Certificate. Electronic Travel Certificates cannot be redeemed at Frontier's airport ticket counters.

I forgot my Electronic Travel Certificate number. How can I find it?
In the booking process on FlyFrontier.com, once you select an Electronic Travel Certificate as a form of payment, you will see a link to look up your certificate. To find your certificate, you will need to know the name, as well as the flight number and date, for which the certificate was issued.

I have Electronic Travel Certificate. When does it expire?
An Electronic Travel Certificate must be redeemed within one year of the date it was issued. Unused Electronic Travel Certificates are automatically voided from our systems and are no longer valid for redemption after that date. This date cannot be extended.

Can I give my Electronic Travel Certificates to someone else?
Electronic Travel Certificates may only be redeemed by the passenger to whom it was issued. When redeeming online at FlyFrontier.com, the name on the new reservation must match the old reservation exactly.

Can multiple Electronic Travel Certificates be used toward the purchase of a ticket?
At this time, only one Electronic Travel Certificate may be used toward each ticket. Multiple Electronic Travel Certificates are not combinable.

What happens if I use an Electronic Travel Certificate toward the purchase of a ticket but the price of the ticket exceeds the value of the Electronic Travel Certificate?
If you use an Electronic Travel Certificate toward a ticket with a price that exceeds the value of the certificate, you will be responsible to pay the difference using a credit or debit card at the time of purchase.

What happens if I use an Electronic Travel Certificate to purchase a ticket with a price lower than the value of the Electronic Travel Certificate?
If you use an Electronic Travel Certificate toward a ticket with a price that is less than the value of the certificate, you forfeit the remaining value of the certificate.

Can I make changes to a ticket purchased using an Electronic Travel Certificate?
Yes, changes can be made to a ticket according to the fare rules of the Fare Option purchased. A change fee and fare difference may apply. The fare rules of the ticket apply even if the ticket was purchased using an Electronic Travel Certificate as payment.

Can an Electronic Travel Certificate be used to pay a fare difference if a ticket is exchanged or reissued?
At this time, an Electronic Travel Certificate can only be used for initial payment toward a ticket for travel on Frontier.

Can an Electronic Travel Certificate be used to pay for services and charges like change fees or bag fees? What about for premium beverages and snacks on the plane?
At this time, an Electronic Travel Certificate can only be used for initial payment toward a ticket for travel on Frontier.

Can I receive a refund for an Electronic Travel Certificate?
We do not provide refunds for Electronic Travel Certificates. If you purchase a refundable ticket using an Electronic Travel Certificate and later request a refund, you will receive a new Electronic Travel Certificate in the amount of the ticket that was paid for using the original Electronic Travel Certificate.
