Contract of Carriage FAQs

 
You must accept the following notification about traveling with hazardous materials before continuing with check-in.
 
(1) Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years' imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples: Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles, and radio-pharmaceuticals.
 
(2) There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. For further information please visit: http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/hazmat_safety/
 

 


What is a Contract of Carriage?
The information contained in this document constitutes the terms of transportation for passengers and their baggage on all flight segments operated by Frontier and other airlines with which Frontier enters into codeshare agreements. Notwithstanding this statement, the terms included in this contract will be modified as necessary for Frontier's codeshare partners based on individual carrier restrictions and/or requirements. In the event that the operating Carrier's terms differ from anything stated in this Contract of Carriage, the more restrictive set of rules will apply.
